Yesterday in Virginia Language school there was a Christmas party. Students and teachers celebrated this bright, interesting and important holiday with which a lot of traditions and customs are connected. In the school the students found beautifully decorated classrooms, a big Christmas tree and a lot of surprises.
   
All the people were divided into the groups according to their language level and together with the teachers they sang beautiful Christmas and New Year songs, read and learnt interesting information about Christmas celebration in different countries. They had a lot of fun playing different Christmas games, reading Christmas stories, trying to predict their future. At the end of the party the students looked for the treasure in the game "treasure hunt", which was found under the Christmas tree.
   
It was a good chance for grown ups to feel a child again, finding sweet presents under the tree. At the same time the people had a nice opportunity to find new friends, practice their English, learn a lot of interesting and useful information about Christmas celebration, its history and traditions. They also met an American boy, who came to Russia for the first time and who in his turn found new friends too.
   
The people were very pleased to spend the Sunday evening in our language school among friends. They went home with sweet presents, small souvenirs and in bright spirits.
